KinCymru - DLA adviser training
Recent government changes to Welfare Benefits and the changes to Disability Living Allowance have left many people with little or no assistance, and have caused a great deal of anxiety and distress for those who have suffered as a result of these changes.
Kin Cymru are hoping to raise £1000 to train 10 new advisers to provide assistance with completing Disability Living Allowance application forms for families in Wales where there are disabled children. These forms are daunting and complex and we believe that many people either give up or end up struggling to complete these on their own and as a result important information is sometimes missed. We hope to train these new advisers to assist those families in greatest need.
This campaign is set up for and on behalf of Kin Cymru - a charity based in Swansea that provides assistance and legal advice for families with disabled children with their welfare benefits, housing or debt issues.
