Holly's Holiday Help

Hi! My name is Holly and three years ago, my baby brother was born in week 26 weighing 900g. He spent his very first Christmas in a hospital 300 km away from home. It was the first Christmas I didn't spend with my mom.

I feel sorry for families that are torn apart during the holidays...that is why I want to do something nice for them. But I need a little help getting started.

My plan is to stand outside of a shopping mall in my hometown and sell homemade hot chocolate and home baked saffron buns named 'lussekatter' then take the money collected and purchase toys to the sick babies and their siblings who are stuck inside the hospital during Christmas.
My problem is that I'm only 9 and cannot afford the permit required to collect money for charity. I have already spent my allowance on mugs with lids for the hot cocoa.

I hope that my distant Canadian family and friends can help me achieve my goal to bring light to those who may not be able to see it. Thank you for any and all support!
