We want to stimulate music, art and tourism in Greenville, NC in a big way.
As an old musician from the mid 60's, the first thing I noticed in Greenville, NC moving from NYC in 2006, was how many live performing musicans there were here.
Now they have all but gone and moved away. Now instead of going out for live entertainment locally most people travel to Raleigh, Fayetteville and Wilmington taking their money out of town.
Over the years my friends list in the music industry has grown quite extensive, from DJ King Assassin to modern classical music composer from Italy Vito Palumbo, to Arrested Development, MC Hammer and locally Psylo Joe.
I used to hang with Stephanie, Dave Dixon, Demetrice and Parmalee at the old Chef's 505 on Red Banks Rd.
I'm retired, and you may remember me doing security for ECU with Staff One.
Now I want to bring my new local startup company CPirateNetwork and my over 50 years of music experience to revitalizing and stimulating the economy, Arts and Entertainment right here in Greenville, NC.
Other areas are doing it in a big way, but I believe we have an edge. Not only was I live front and center at the original Woodstock in 1969, but I've been collecting musician friends ever since and they're ready to come here and perform.
I cannot do this alone. Lord knows I tried in 2011 and entertained 500 youth successfully and even had them performing on stage. We are working with the SBTDC @ECU and SEED @ECU for Technology and Innovation as advisers and facilitators in this matter.
But now that I'm retired and running CPirateNetwork full time I need your help to make this happen. Whatever you can give will be greatly appreciated, announced in social media too if you wish.
Your help will bring us that much closer to a huge win for Greenville, NC without which when our chosen venue is revealed we'll know that you will already be set to take Greenville, NC to a whole new level.
