Shane’s top surgery!!!

Shane is a Black indigenous two spirit trans boi born and raised in NC- and currently living in Asheville (occupied Cherokee territory).

Shane is working to support his family, repair his truck, and pay for day-to-day survival necessities. Saving for anything  is near impossible.

For many trans people, the cost of top surgery makes this necessary procedure seem like an impossibility. Shane has been binding his chest for years- and deals with cronic pain from a combination of binding, working in the service industry, and carrying the trauma of surviving under white supremacy.
