Save Our Society!

Hello, we are St Matthew's Theatrical Society based in Rastrick, West Yorkshire. Since 1979 we have put on an annual pantomime until Covid-19 put a stop to that in 2020 (boo!)

Fast forward to 2021 and it has come to light that our wiring has been condemned and we cannot perform another show until it is replaced (awh. It's sadder than that! AWWHH!)

We are gutted because we do not have the funds to pay for this and we are DESPERATE to get back to performing for the people of Rastrick (oh yes we are!)

For 40 years we have performed amazing pantomimes and plays for the community, we have welcomed members old and young no matter their ability and now we ask for your help to raise the funds we so desperately need so that we can continue to put on pantomimes for years to come.

Will you be our Fairy Godmother and donate to our cause? Whether it's £1, £10 or £100, every donation is gratefully appreciated.

£6,000 fixes our electrics and allows us to be back in 2022 with hired lighting. Another £4,000 means we can buy our very own lighting and be more sustainable in the long term and secure the future of our society.

The young people we work with are so excited to get back on the stage. Being members of St Matthew's Theatrical Society helps build their confidence, social skills and theatre craft but most importantly, they have SO MUCH FUN!
