Formula For Life

The mission of the Formula for Life organization is to improve the nutrition of poor, sick infants of Haiti. While recognizing the benefits of breastfeeding, we also recognize that this is not always possible, especially in Haiti, where some children are orphaned or their mothers are unable to supply them the needed nourishment without formula augmentation. The mission is accomplished by a committee of University of Saint Francis students who advise and coordinate the volunteer-driven events that raise funds for the purchase and delivery of infant formula to the needy of Haiti. The values of the Formula for Life organization are shaped by God’s message in Matthew 25:40, namely, ‘whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me’.
