Save Our School! - St. Alphonsus

St. Alphonsus in New Munster, Wisconsin is a small rural community based Catholic school that started as a four-room school in 1916. Although the school building has grown considerably, our numbers of students and families attending St. Alphonsus has steadily decreased.
We currently have 37 Kindergarten through 8th grade students that love being part of the St. Al's family. We also have a well attended Preschool program .
Ok, those are the logistics of our school...the heartfelt plea to save our school is so much more than just that. We truly are a family. Our teachers and staff dedicate themselves to each and every student there. They strive on a daily basis to better the lives of the students as members of the Catholic faith and community. Our kids are taught not just the three R's but the mission statement of Faith, Hope and Love by constant example. That type of education is priceless.
The Parish Finance Council has approved a fundraising effort to hopefully eliminate the deficit that exists and together with an increase in student enrollment assure continued operational success of our school.
We are asking for financial donations and any amount is greatly appreciated and is also tax-deductible.
