Rehab Baby & Injured Birds
Donation protected
Rogers Wildlife Rehabilitation Center (RWRC) is a non-profit wildlife rescue organization dedicated to rehabilitating injured, sick or orphaned birds. We are the only all species avian rehabilitation facility, USDA-licensed farm sanctuary, and wildlife preserve in North Texas. We provide professional, humane, comprehensive veterinary care and support to all birds brought to RWRC for treatment. In the last year, RWRC has treated and released over 4,200 orphaned and injured birds. The average rehabilitation time for birds is less than three months, with some birds staying up to a year.
Medical expenses and food bills for our birds skyrocket each year. It’s necessary to give each species an appropriate diet, so we must buy large quantities of fish, mealworms, seeds, vegetables, fruit, rats, mice, and hay. RWRC relies on support through tax-deductible donations and our trained team of dedicated volunteers.
With baby-bird season right around the corner, we are working in preparing our clinic for the up-coming and overwhelming influx of patients. Funding for this is critical this time of year. Please help support our endeavor by donating.
