Laramie Breastfeeding Coalition

We are a small non-profit organization that supports and educates moms of the how to's and the many benefits of breastfeeding. We reach out to our community to create a network of supportive resources in hopes to bring awareness, understanding and guidance towards our goal of normalizing breastfeeding within our culture. We have a great standing relationship with our 'Baby Friendly' Ivinson Memorial Hospital and have created breastfeeding bags that we give out upon departure to all our new moms with breastfeeding supportive giveaways and learning materials rather than formula bags. We teach Breastfeeding Classes. We reach out to businesses to bring awareness towards supporting our working moms as well as continue to formulate new creative ways to reach out to our community. We hope to empower moms of their abilities to give the greatest gifts to their babies. We strive to bring awareness to our community how important this is, as well as educate how the community can provide support.
