Latarjet leaves me in a bind
I had my first shoulder surgery in 2003. Another in 2007, and another in 2014. The first two were sports related SLAP tears, rotator cuff and partial bicep fixes. Now, 2 years later, it has blown again. This time, after several consultations, it was determined my best bet is the Latarjet procedure. I am on a plan to cover the actual procedure, but will be without income and my savings are depleted. Everyday task will be an obstacle. I've been a librarian, worked construction after Katrina, and just renewed my license for coaching soccer. I expect I'll be doing a lot of writing, and plan to use this down time the best that I can. I've never been on any assistance, though that will have to change. I'm hoping through the goodness of the world and spreading positivity, I'll come through this better off in many ways. It will be difficult, not being able to drive, cook, etc for 8 weeks.
