Lawrence Zoernig memorial fund

Many of you may not know that our sweet brother and friend, Lawrence, was struggling with symptoms associated with diabetes. Somehow, despite  these significant challenges, he managed to retain his sweetness, and love of life and music-making throughout, and was always there offering a perspective from "the bright side", whenever the dark side got a foot in the door.  He was well loved and admired by all who met him. Everybody from young children to the eldest of the elderly were attracted to his friendly and warm presence.  He judged no one, and always offered his help to all, in any way he was able.  He was generous, above all else, with everything he had to offer. He brought so much joy, wherever he went. His positive attitude and spirit were an asset in whatever situation he faced, and you could always count on him to do his best. 
Please help us with costs associated with his passing, the scope of which is still unclear.
We (his family) will update this profile as more information becomes available. Thank you all for your love and kindness in this  challenging time, as we face the inevitable grief and ultimate celebration of his life well lived.
