Thanksgiving is a special time during the year where we rejoice with family, friends, and loved ones to celebrate our blessings and share a meal together. Unfortunately many are unable to partake in the holiday festivities due to estranged relationships, deaths, or inadequate funds. This year in particular, many individuals and families are unable to celebrate Thanksgiving due to coronavirus, which has impacted the lives of millions across the U.S.
Whether someone has lost their loved ones, their source of income, or the ability to travel, we want to ensure that they’re able to enjoy the holiday and be surrounded by an abundance of love.
Next month, Leftovers with Love will serve Thanksgiving meals to those who aren't able to either celebrate with their loved ones or afford the appropriate Thanksgiving meal they deserve. Our goal is to provide Thanksgiving meals to 200-250 people. All food served will be catered by local businesses throughout New York City.
The proceeds from this fundraiser will be allocated to the participating local businesses for services rendered.
