Leonard Krise Burial Fund

Leonard Krise spent his life in service to the people in his community, church, family, and friends. He was always willing to help, support, encourage, pray for, and cheer people up with a new joke.  Alaskan State Trooper and a Sam's Club employee. Jobs in service, like being an Alaskan State Trooper or greeting/helping people at Sam's Club, were a calling for him for he loved brightening people's day and helping anyone in need.  

The last several years have been very hard on Leonard's household. They included lots of unexpected extenuating circumstances, mostly medical/pharmasutical and uncovered by insurance, which drained all accumulated resources. Burial costs, which were once prepaid, were stollen years ago by the person who owned the facility. A long court session restored only the plots that people had purchased. Everything else that were completely prepaid were lost. For reasons unknown, previous life insurance and burial insurance policies are not existent. (Medical conditions having made them impossible to get in recent years.)

Leonard's greatest desire upon dying was to be buried in a casket next to his wife in the Butte cemetary. The plot  he purchased is there. No one realized until now that there weren't funds to cover the burial expenses. The funeral home is demanding the funds be paid up front immediately. The unexpected cost to bury or even cremate far surpass what his children can do on their own. We're asking that everyone, family and friends, who were touched by Leonard please contribute what you can to help grant his final requests of burial by his wife Nona. Please help elevate some of the stress in a time that is already stressful if you can.
