We JOYFULLY announce that we have found our farm!

An amazing Connecticut based Organic Farmer is preparing to retire with the hope of selling his amazing 4 acre organic farm to people who share his vision and values. All Corners Farm (us) met with this incredible man and he has agreed to help All Corners Farm in their journey toward the potential purchase of his property!

While we are appealing to government and state and other grant platforms, much funding for nonprofits comes from YOU; the patrons and sponsors who believe in our mission!

Why is this property so perfect?

It has everything we need for maximum operations of our farming, built into sale! It is already organic, it has equipment, greenhouses and high tunnels and a vehicle!

This means that after we obtain the property, our operations’ expenses will be drastically decreased and we will be able to triple our output and advance our programming (this includes volunteer and employment of individuals with disabilities and veterans) with a small rolling annual donation; much less than would be required if we maintained the multiple site plots we currently operate.

Who we are and why we are doing it:

At first Stu and Cori Asbel thought they wanted a small sustainable farm that grew clean food for those in need. But they felt strongly from the beginning that such an effort would be empty if it was not an inclusive experience. Whether a person is facing physical, cognitive or emotional challenges, everyone should have the opportunity to engage in this work, connect to the earth, and lift up others in their community, thus lifting themselves up as well.

All Corners Farm, Inc wants to see EVERY CORNER of communities involved in this work, coming together over the production of food and seeing what other good they can do together.  Together we can grow clean food in corners like private homes, religious institutions, schools, wherever there is a desire to do the work. All Corners Farm wants to offer advice, material, education, helping hands and inspiration!
 
In the Torah (or first five books of the Old Testament), it says, "When you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not reap all the way to the edges of your field, or gather the gleanings of your harvest".  This law was designed to make sure the community was taking care of the less fortunate who did not have fields of their own, by designating the corners of the field to be left for them to harvest. The commentary of this law states that while there is a minimum size these corners must be, there is no maximum. All Corners Farm has chosen to designate most of their fields' harvest to the poor and hungry; making sure that the majority of what we grow goes to those who need it most. 

Everyone needs to eat, everyone should be able to eat clean food. Working together, ordinary people can do extraordinary things; lifting up a community...one corner at a time.
