Liam's Bereavement Fund
Liam Charles-Rivera, fifteen months old, died in his parents arms, after struggling with chronic heart disease and pulmonary complications. He passed gently into the arms of Jesus at 8:07am on October 7, 2017 at New York Presbyterian/Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital.
Liam is the son of Jim Charles and Tony Rivera of Clifton Park. During his brief visit on earth, he enjoyed playing with his five year old sister Maya, listening to music, cuddling with his favorite blanket, (given to him by his sister), flirting with all his nurses, and being held close by his parents. All who met him, including all the medical professionals who treated him throughout his hospital stays will greatly miss him.
Jim and Tony would like to extend sincere thanks to the medical professionals at Albany Medical Center and NY Presbyterian / Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital and the entire staff at Friends In Adoption in Poultney, VT.
