Garry and Rebecca were happily married September 10th 2016 after almost 9 years together. They found out in fall of 2016 that they were expecting their first child due for arrival in July 2017. In February 2017 they found out they were having a beautiful baby girl! They had her name already picked out, Lilliann Marie Percell was going to be the light of the families lives! Normally a very healthy woman but unfortunately in late April 2017 only 28 weeks pregnant Rebecca was diagnosed with severe preeclampsia and spent 8 days in the hospital total fighting for her and her babies life.
At 6:20am on May 2nd 2017 they welcomed their healthy warrior princess Lilliann Marie Percell 12 weeks early into this crazy world via C-section. She weighed a whopping 1 pound 12.4 ounces & was 13 inches in length. She has already spent a month in the NICU so far, she has had and will continue to have countless amount of labs, scans and tests run for her first year of life to make sure she is developing properly. She's now weighing in close to 3 lbs but will still have a couple of more months to grow outside of the womb before she can be released to officially go home.
Garry unfortunately was laid off of work in late January/early February before everything unfolded, so he doesn't have any current solid income or insurance to add to the mix, they are solely relying on Rebecca's insurance currently. Rebecca has been off of work once everything started since April 20th 2017 and will return to work hopefully soon once she is fully healthy again, until baby Lilli officially gets to go home.
on average an 8 week stay for a baby in the NICU is close to $250,000, they are looking at about a 12 week stay total. They were also just approved to buy their first home the day Rebecca was first diagnosed, their dreams of that are put on hold for now. They are unsure how much medical bills will cost them in the end. Normally a very selfless couple who never ask for anything would appreciate ANY current donation or help, it would be a blessing to this new little family and help out tremendously and they would be forever grateful for anything the family will receive.
