Some people struggle with the disease of cancer and the stress of having to fund adequate health care. This should never be the case.  Even in my current state of having cancer, I must serve those who are in need. 

Last year when I was diagnosed, my mom was also diagnosed.  Her health insurance did not  cover even one quarter of the costs for the tests, surgeries...even the office vists weren't covered.  One---1--- chemo treatment cost almost $2900.  That is only for the treatment and meds. Seeing the oncologist is almost $250. My Parents...like many others...decided to go ahead with whatever treatment was needed and pay the bills as best they could. They have amassed what is close to almost $25K in medical bills not covered by insurance.  I encountered a couple who pan-handled money for gas at a truck stop just to get to treatment. 

While I have been blessed to have great health care and adequate insurance during this journey, I have experienced those who do not have the same blessings.   I am going to do all I can to raise money for those whose insurance may not provide all needed for total care.  I need your support.
