Loretta and Shyla's Medical Fund

Hi everyone,
Today my mom and her beagle puppy Shyla were viciously attacked by a pit bull and german shepherd on her walk down the Centennial trail in South San Francisco . She takes her dogs on this trail every day and sometimes even takes along her grandchildren. The two dogs were alone and off leash. She laid in a ditch for 30 minutes while people walked by and no one would stop to help. Someone finally stopped and called the police and the dogs had to be tasered in order to stop the attack. She was taken to the hospital where she was treated for wounds on her face, arms, and legs.
Shyla, her dog, is in critical condition and will spend the next several days at the Vet and we are praying for a full recovery. It's touch and go at the point and she is being monitored around the clock for the next 48 hours.
My mom's medical insurance will not cover the full cost of her emergency visit and the vet bills alone are going to be around 5,000 dollars . We are asking for any donations to help offset some of the hospital and vet fees. This has been a very tumultuous experience and my hope is to at least relieve some of the financial burden from her. Any money raised will go directly to the recovery of my mother and Shyla. Thank you everyone.
