On September 19th, we are releasing our debut record as part of CityFolk's Marvest Program .

We are thrilled to be part of such a great festival and even more thrilled to show you our new music. Now that the recording is nearly done, it's time for us to start coughing up some dough.  And...we hate to do this...but..we could really use your help.

Welcome to the big leagues
This time around, we decided to step up our professionalism and take our production and mixing to Dean Watson and his beautiful Gallery Recording Studio, both of which were instrumental in developing the great sound we have achieved... Which brings us back to that dough.

We are asking for $2,000 in order to cover the costs of mixing, mastering and printing of this record, as those are absolutely necessary to achieve our album release on September 19th. Beyond that amount, we would appreciate any and all donations that we will be able to put towards merchandising, touring and printing vinyl copies of our album.

Who are we?
Formerly known as Miss Polygamy, Ottawa-based     Lost to the River  consists of five friends and musicians who have united to create what we think is something very special. While we had a great run with Miss Polygamy, we feel that our time has come to grow and evolve with our music. Thus, with a new name we can better reflect our music and musical identity to you, the most important people in our lives -- that is, aside from our instruments ‘cause, yes, they’re just that important to us.

The making of LTTR’s first album
For the past 5 months, we have been hard at work in an effort to bring you our very best yet. Countless mornings, days and nights were spent going through the arduous creative process that is required to produce an album. From developing melodies, to writing lyrics; from finding the right chords and keys to perfecting our harmonies; this has been one of the most life-changing experiences we have ever had.
