Luis Durand Memorial Fund

On Friday, May 31st, our father, Louis, was diagnosed with cancer. It all began when he started experiencing severe sciatica pain in April of 2019. After many tedious doctors visits and tests, he was told the unfortunate news that he had advanced metastatic unknown carcinoma. At this point he was already bed bound and unable to walk or run his business. Louis' battle was very short as his cancer progressed very rapidly, especially in the last couple of weeks of his life. It is with a heavy heart we had to say goodbye to our father on Fathers Day, Sunday, June 16th 2019.  Between his 3 daughters and wife, we will continue to honor his legacy after his death.  Unfortunately, his passing was sudden and unexpected. My father was the primary provider for our mother, Dioscora, and we were not prepared to say goodbye nor to accommodate for his medical and funeral services.   These funds will be used to help our mom pay for hospital expenses, funeral costs, and other associated expenses that arose from this unfortunate event.
