We need help getting to Oahu for hearings! Please help us have our outer island voices heard!
The State Government is deliberating over very important bills including bills for sustainable food and farming, preemption of county home rule (bad!), and a statewide version of county bill 2491 (HB 1514) that could help get us information, data and buffers statewide.
We have important bills that need support and opposition. In one room they are throwing us carrots while in others they are feasting on home rule and county rights. The people of Kaua'i need to be represented in those rooms, and the representatives that make these decisions need to be confronted by their constituency. We need to be there.
We will take the time off work and make the time and get there to make sure these voices are heard, but we need help getting there.
We need your help as a community so people like myself, Dustin, 'Ohana O Kauai members and other impacted people with important stories to share can have their voices heard in our State Capitol this session.
