Ashton Chilton's Go Karting Career

My name is Ashton Chilton, I am 11 years old and I live in Key Largo, Florida. My passion is Go Kart racing and my goal in life is to become a Professional Racecar Driver. I have been racing since I was 7 years old.
Since 2014, I won 6 State Championships, ranked sixth in my first 2016 Florida Winter Tour racing against the best in the world. I secured sixth place in the Rok Cup Florida Championship. This summer, I was able for the first time to race out of state in the WKA Manufacturers / National Series in Newcastle, Indiana (twice) and in Pittsburgh, PA.
2017 is starting extremely well as I won 2 poles awards, my first national race and a 2nd place finish in the second race in Daytona for the WKA Winter Cup National Series. I was crowned Event Champion for the Daytona Kart Week in my division ((Pro Swift Sportsman).
Not only do I drive but I also do mechanic work every day on my kart with my father, who is also my mentor, my coach and my mechanic. One of my goal is to compete at national and international levels. Between travel costs, entry fees and maintenance of my Karts, Go Karting is a very expensive sport . Please help me succeed, become more competitive against the bigger teams, and make my dream come true.
