Keeping Keith's dream alive!

Keith Bullard was a pioneer in the automobile industry. He was one of the first eight black Chrysler dealers. Keith Bullard passed away unexpectedly in Dec 2013. He had just come out of retirement and opened his car dealership in August 2013 in order to have something for his family. Everything was in his name at the time of his untimely death. His wife and daughter have been struggling to keep the dealership going. He worked all his life for this dealership and pretty much died for it. The finance company that he worked with refused to continue financing their inventory but continued to collect on the cars they did fund. They made it impossible for his wife and daughter to be able to purchase inventory. They have customers coming in and calling everyday looking for vehicles. This is because they help the less fortunate that can't go through a "regular" dealership to have reliable transportation. They provide vehicles for people with bad credit, low income, and those who just need a second chance. They help those people that others have given up on. They need help quickly getting inventory so that their business can stay alive. With your donations they will be able to continue helping their customers and keep Keith's name and dream alive. They willl also be able to catch up on expenses that they have fallen behind on. He was the major provider for the family. Things have become very hard for them since his death.



Here is a little background on Keith.  Keith was appointed the Chrysler-Plymouth dealer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in April, 1978. When the first NAMAD meeting was held (1980), Bullard, along with five other African-American dealers in attendance, established the Chrysler Black Dealer Association. Bullard was elected president and was the lead in meeting with Chrysler executives. He resigned as the C-P dealer in 1984. In September of 1986, Bullard was appointed the LM dealer in Coraopolis, Pa. (Pittsburgh). When the decision was made to close the dealership, he opened a 'Super Used Car' operation which remained highly successful until he retired in 2010.  He came out of retirement in 2013 to continue his dream and create a legacy for his family that would remain alive for years to come.
