Malika's oxygen fund

Malika was born 29th September 2012 at only 22 weeks gestation and was hospitalised for 9 months, due to many complications.  

We had been told by consultants "Malika would not be able to do anything for herself in adulthood" but of course Malika has decided to proove the Doctors wrong (Alhamdulillah).  However, she now require 24/7 oxygen therapy and  we have been told she will need it for the best parts of her childhood.  

 I have set this up to raise money to buy Malika a portable oxygen conerntrator.  Unfortunately the NHS cannot provide one due to budget cuts and making it only available to adults only.  This concerntrator will enable Malika  to have freedom to play as she pleases, without the restrictions of a 1.5 metre tube and oxygen tank.  

Currently Malika is having problems accepting the oxygen and now has to wear a helmet to protect her from banging her head when she gets frustrated.  I often find her pulling off the oxygen so she can be free. Having this concertrator means she will be able to carry it herslef and play like any other child and we cannot make it happen without your help (In shaa Allah)!
