Manuel Solórzano's Burial

Donation protected

“You never said I'm leaving. You never said goodbye. You were gone before we knew and only God knew why. A million times we needed you. A million times we will cry. If love could have saved you, we never would have needed to say goodbye. In life we loved you dearly. In death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place, that no one could ever fill. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God took you home”

This past Tuesday, December 20th, Manuel Solórzano collapsed and suffered from a massive heart attack. Despite nearly 40 minutes of family and paramedics on hand, his heart was unable to be revived. It is difficult to lose someone you love and even more so around the holidays. Instead of celebrating the holidays together around the dinner table, his family is now planning his funeral.

As sorrows fill my family, please help us mourn our loss. My father was a hardworking, loving, and a man full of laughter and jokes. For those of you who have crossed paths with him, knew him through the reflection of his children or wife, will you find it in your hearts to provide any donation to help with the cost of his burial.

Your assistance will go towards immediate funeral expenses/hospital bills that my family will be facing during the midst of this great tragedy. Most importantly, we ask for continued prayers for our family. We’ve learned through the years that the greatest blessing is allowing others the opportunity to be a blessing.

Manuel was born on May 20, 1961 and passed on December 20, 2016. He died at the young age of 55. Leaving behind his wife, four children, three grandchildren, and many others who love and care for him.

The world is a little bit dimmer today without the bright light of Manuel Solórzano, but his good deeds will forever be remembered by those he served and loved.

Thank you in advance for being a blessing to our family and for the continued outpouring of love and prayers.

As of now, the viewing of the body is Monday, December 26, 2016 from 3PM-9PM at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home & Crematory. Located 15525 73rd Ave, Orland Park, IL 60462.

More details will come later this week about burial services..
