A. Paulette Clinton Memorial fund - Help make a difference.

"It's not what you achieve, it's what you overcome."                                                                                          - Carlton Fisk
From a friend:
Marc is not just an employee or tennis teaching professional by any means. He is professional for sure. I've know Marc for almost 10 years. It is a rare that you meet a person who doesn't fluster under pressure, doesn't anger from frustration and doesn't frown when things don't go his way.

Marc is an angel. He is a positive force who touches everyone he meets, especially on the tennis court. When declaring that he wanted to go into the ministry he told me that teaching faith and teaching tennis are one in the same. You are just trying to get the person to be the best they can be.

I am hoping that we can all honor Marc and be the best we can be to not only spread the word for his family to raise money for his and Amari's future - as there are many challenges in leading a "new and different" life for a single father and a son who lost his mother. If we lead by Marc's example and be generous, kind and positive then we will honor Paulette's legacy.

In life if we are lucky to  know people we can call a good neighbor, luckier still to have people we can call friend and truely blessed to have people we call family.  We are so fortunate to have called
A. Paulette Thompson-Clinton neighbor, friend and family.  Paulette passed away on September 5th, the eve of her son Amari's 10th birthday after a long battle with cancer.

Our goal is to raise enough money (goal of $100,000) to relieve financial pressures due to years of medical expenses and work interruptions, to support Amari in his pursuits of music and art, and to simply make a more certain future for the family.

We would value your support, be you a neighbor, friend, family or stranger as the Clinton family sets forth on a new journey without their wife, mother and spritual partner.

Share this campaign with as many people as possible so that we can make a difference in Marc and Amari's lives far beyond these early days of both grief and celebration of a life well lived.

As friends and family of Marc and Paulette we are asking because Marc won't ask for favors or won't ask for anything for that matter, so we are doing our part to show him and his family the positive impact that Marc and Paulette have had.

We are hoping that with the collective connections we all have we can make a lasting difference in a young man's life and alleviate the burden and stress that raising a child as a single parent brings. We humbly thank you in advance for any donation or support you can give.

Paulette recently wrote to her family and friends...There are many definitions of faith, but the one I choose to stand on comes from Hebrews 11:1. “Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.”

"Be persistent whether the time is favorable or unfavorable; convince, rebuke, and encourage, with the utmost patience in teaching." - Timothy 4:2
