I've made two dozen videos chronicling the week of the Sweet 16 and my trip to NYC. My Facebook friends convinced me they were living vicariously through them and enjoying it all more because of it. I didn't want to beg for money!!! But I caved in thinking they may be right. I didn't think people would pay just to send me and my son to a game! I guess we will find out...

I have waited 45 years for my Gamecocks to be relevant. I've watched every single March Madness since I can remember. My son and I have gone to games and we've never lost when we've attended. Last year or this year. SEND US TO PHOENIX!

Make no mistake, I would not be able to go to the final four without your help! It was completely an irresponsible financial decision on my part to attend the Sweet 16 in NYC, and there is no way I could afford another trip a week later.
I know some of you will have a problem with me begging for money to go... I understand that! I regretted asking for money the minute this gofundme page started! I had literally dozens of people message me saying they wanted me to be there and to send them videos like I had been doing and that they would support it if I did it. I regretted it immediately. I feel like a televangelist asking for your money. However, if it works out, I will think it was the best idea ever!
So before you jump to a negative conclusion about what is happening here, please understand it is 100 percente YOUR right.... TO NOT GIVE! If my videos haven't encouraged you, or you haven't followed along, or haven't been motivated to start following along... I don't WANT your money.
What I would like to do is provide a service in return for the chance of a lifetime. To share the first final four of the South Carolina Gameocks with my 8th grade son who plays and loves basketball.
The service I'll provide is to make weekend games a little more fun to watch for you all because you will have invested in our trip and felt like you were there with us. My facebook supporters have messaged me saying they have lived vicariously through me this entire journey.
On the surface it looks like I am just begging for money to go to the final four because I can't afford to go with out help. And this time the surface is 100-percent accurate. There is NO WAY I could make this make sense financially. My wife is a school teacher and I am a stand-up comedian who used to be a school teacher. Replacing a school teacher salary with comedy money wasn't that hard! If I was a stock-broker making $150,000 a year I never would have been able to be a comedian at age 35~!!!!!!!!!!
In other words... I am just a broke comedian... trying to get to the game. In return, I will help you enjoy it a little more. If you don't want to help... don't help!! I don't want your help if you don't want to give it.
