Mason Peeler & Family Benefit Fund

Mason and his family (mom, dad, two "big" brothers" and an angel sister) live just outside of Myrtle Beach,  SC.  Mason, who just turned 6 months old, was born with two conditions, Biliary Atresia and Heterotaxy Polysplenia, and he needs to have a liver transplant within the next few weeks.  His doctors are in Charleston, SC, which is about 3 hours from home.  He has been in the hospital more than he has been at home having to have had numerous surgeries and procedures; and the doctors were hoping that he could make it to the one-year mark before the liver transplant, but that is not going to be possible.  The doctors just told the family that the cost of the transplant will be between $1 million - $3.5 million.

The family will have to stay in Charleston for at least 2-4 months once Mason has his transplant surgery, and there will be a  great need for lodging, food, laundry and so much more.  With Mason having been in and out of the hospital for the past 5 months, the family has very little income coming in, as Mason's dad was laid off as a result of being off from work to be in Charleston with Mason.  To further add to their trials, their home has been damaged by the recent hurricanes to hit the Myrtle Beach area over the past year or so.  New housing arrangements will be needed due to the condition of their home.
