My Campaign Fund for Elected Office
Donation protected
Quick note: PLEASE do NOT contribute amounts over $500. The rationale is explained below.
Hey, folks! To make a simple introduction statement: I'm a person who loves to help others achieve their potential. This has been a common theme throughout my life, my career and volunteer work in the arts and fundraising.
With that in mind, it is my desire to look towards a future career in elected office. I don't have an exact date or time, but I know it will be in the nearer term future. This GoFundMe is for the purpose of garnering contributions and support towards that campaign. Most likely, my career will start in New Hampshire.
To be sure, the money you contribute to this link will NOT be used unless it is used towards funding my campaign aspirations. This is a guarantee. I am really looking at this GoFundMe as an endorsement of the communities I'm associated with rather than a free ride. I work hard for my own money, and will happily continue to do so. The initial $100,000 investment will go towards an advertising campaign to gain more funds and support for my first elected office.
Where I currently stand on the important issues of our modern era (in order of concern):
Public Education. It is my desire to greatly improve public education into a system that will 1) be inclusive of the most children as possible and 2) yield the best results. I have had extensive experience in the tech sector around this topic, and look to provide my expertise upon taking office.
Jobs and Economy. Continuing to innovate, to push entrepreneurship will be the main way to drive our future success. It should be a priority to create and keep jobs in America, or adapt jobs to uniquely fit the American people's skill set. The success of our small businesses will be the key to this.
Climate Change. This is a considerable issue whose solution continues to evade us. While some of our rising temperatures are due to natural effects, we can do a better job to contain the horrible effects that our CO2 emissions are having on our atmosphere. Science can save us here, but we need to make efforts towards solving this issue or we could leave our children's children in a world that will no longer be able to support them.
Resource Constraints. How can our states, our country, our world, support the 7 billion people (and growing)? And how long will our world be able to survive our expectations of it? Solving these problems in smaller communities could be the key.
Social Issues. I personally believe that if a social issue doesn't hurt the community as a whole, it should be protected as an inherent liberty. This is not an attempt at Vaguespeak; it is a general blanket that should be applied to any Social Issue.
For example: I believe in a person's right to marry a man or a woman, as there is zero evidence to suggest that doing so will cause harm to our greater nation (and might actually provide benefit). On the flipside, I also believe in an organization's right to continue to speak out against that type of union, provided it is accompanied by "here and now" evidence.
I define "here and now" evidence as relevant evidence of institutional, social, and economic decay caused directly by the existence of progressive social values.
There are a lot more issues at stake. Foreign policy, including military presence and trade, world financial markets, ISIS and terrorism, jobs and economy, and other aspects that would threaten the safety and security of our communities MUST be dealt with. You can guarantee that, if I can't solve it, I will find the most qualified individuals who will advise me on the best way to do so.
Why I think I'll be effective. I am very proud of the complex problems my teams have solved in my career. I have brought large groups together with opposing viewpoints to create systems that work for everyone. I've even done so at one of the most innovative companies in the world. I have always tried to keep my approach simple, warm (yet firm at certain times), and effective. This is not a self-endorsement I take lightly; it's simply an acknowledgment of my past successes, further endorsed by my LinkedIn profile (cross-functional Team Leadership and Leadership are my top endorsements).
I am very familiar with the future of mobile identification, security, and payments, having worked in this space recently. I'm also extremely familiar with the basic concepts of talent, which includes workforce management, planning, and acquisition.
I have fundraised for various organizations, leading teams that have smashed records for amounts of money and awareness. I have also done my part for the preservation of performing arts, with a statewide award named after me years ago that still exists today for my efforts.
I have solved complex issues that have been laid before me within small and large corporations. I think this will translate well into government leadership, having a bachelors in Political Science and continuing the study long after college.
For whatever reason, if I decide not to run, I'm going to give back all of this money, OR contribute it to a non-profit, the choice of which shall be yours, the donor.
Thanks for your time. I look forward to revealing my strategy for better communities in the upcoming years.
CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTION RULES
1) I have many friends who don't live in the United States. PLEASE do not contribute, as this is NOT LEGAL. You can absolutely share this across the internet, however, if you believe in me.
2) I have aspirations to run in New Hampshire someday as my first step. The rules in this state only allow up to $500 for one contribution until I register a political committee with the state of New Hampshire, which I have not done yet. Not that I believe anyone would contribute more than that, but I want to ensure that the cap is stated.
3) These campaigns are NOT tax-deductible.
