Domestic Violence Victim In Need

First of all, thank you for taking the time to come to this site and for any and all help you give.

My best friend has recently become the victim of domestic violence and her world has been turned upside down. She has a one year old child and they have now been uprooted as a result of the incident. Please note, that she wishes to remain anonymous due to the difficulty of her situation, so I have started this fund under my name to help her get back on her feet.

This has put her in a difficult place financially on top of everything else she has had to deal with. She has always be a financially independent person. It wasn't until her maternity leave that she became dependent on her significant other. Now that her child is older, she recently started a new job that she was excited about. Unfortunately, her family and most of her friends live across country, so she had to quit this job in order to move closer that much needed support system.

The cost of moving, as well as the legal fees that have come from the incident, and now having to raise her child on her own, have placed a huge financial burden on her. Until she can find a new job, a new home and build back her strength and independence, I ask you to please help her in anyway you can. Whatever you can offer during this difficult transition, even if it's a simple prayer, could make all the difference!

She is the kindest and most selfless person I've ever met. I know with our help she can get a jump start on this new chapter for both herself and her child.
