At the Wolds Gliding Club we are creating a team of pilots for aerobatics. A special aerobatic glider has been purchased to help to train and hopefully compete nationally. We have two main individuals being myself (Will) and another pilot Joel. We are ages 17 and 14 respectively and therefore we are in full time education. We both flew gliders solo at the age of 14, the lowest age this is possible.
We would love to have you as our sponsor through our training and through our flights while competing. We would be able to advertise your business through stickers/logos on the glider and trailer. When we fly the glider, any public visitors will be able to see the glider and therefore be able to see your logo. We could also apply your logo onto the trailer so when we travel with the glider away from our site your business will be publicised. Logos on team jackets is also another viable option in which the public will see when they are worn. A you tube channel will be created in which our flights will be uploaded to, on the video your business will be mentioned in credits with a logo. If the footage is shot from outside the glider then your logo will be shown (stuck to the glider).
Both Joel and I have competed in the Pocklington regionals last year. We both won our classes respectively in which Joel won the beginners only having started flying aerobatics 3 days before and myself winning the sports class. (Photo) Joel has now progressed in training and has moved on to sports figures and I have ventured further into the intermediate class.
Any contribution would be mostly appreciated to help train. Both Joel and I are hoping to compete and win nationally in our classes and hopefully one day fly in a world championships. If you are able to you can come and visit it us at the club and watch us train. If you are very generous and fund a certain amount you can get a free air experience flight with me (Will Blackburn), unfortunately we can’t do any aerobatics for insurance reasons.
