Help Firefighter Allen Brown

Allen Brown is a long time Granbury Volunteer Firefighter and has devoted his life to others.  He has been diagnosed with Myelodysplastic syndrome(MDS) also known as "pre-leukemia".  Allen has been battling this disorder during the past year and has fought a good fight.  He was advised that this was most likely a direct effect of his many years fighting fires.  So saving and protecting others, could possibly cost him his life.  Allen truly loves and appreciates his community which is why he continues to serve the community while fighting his illness. Allen requires a bone marrow transplant in the near future and is still searching for a compatible donor.  The Granbury Volunteer Fire Department has been holding blood drives due to the amount of transfusions Allen has had to have, and hosting bone marrow testing to continuously try and find a donor for him.   Along with fighting for his life, Allen will also have a lot of medical expenses.  As a brother to us all in the Fire Department, we are asking for you to please help Allen.
