Memorial for beloved Matthew Glover
Donation protected
On April 25th, 2017 my best friend Matthew Douglas Glover was shot and killed while fundraising for Care For The Children in the city of Norwalk. Matthew displayed qualities that most people I know do not have. He would bend over backwards and help anybody whether it was getting them food, a job, or just being there to talk to if you needed a friend. He was loved by so many in and out of work. He was full of humility and could always carry on a conversation with just about anyone. Matthew enjoyed composing music on his free time. He recently started delivering food boxes to homebound senior citizens for the charity. He enjoyed helping senior citizens get food and then fundraising in the evenings for the charity. In Matthews’ struggles in life he always came up on top even when he would fall he would rise back up. He was a honest, hard working, good natured man who enjoyed helping people. His struggles over the years only made him stronger. He leaves behind a son, a brother, and an elderly father. We will miss you Matthew and we will never forget the light you shined on all of us. God Bless you.
