Outside The House | Outside The Box
For over 4 months, I've been working hard to get more and more folks, specifically African Americans, to open up about Mental Health issues. This work has taken me down many dark roads, showing me more and more how important it is to complete this work.
What started as a documentary, and is turning into one still, has grown into much more. Programming and community outreach was born out of this, and we are now ready to get things set up across the country.
I've enlisted several Mental Health Professionals, and looking for many more. 
Money Will Be Used For:
1. To Complete The Documentary: As of today, 14 interviews have been conducted, and many more are scheduled. We've been fortunate enough to make it to California, Virginia, New York, Orlando, DC so far. Funding is needed for Travel, Editing, Production and Post Production costs.
2. Outreach: The documentary will come and go, and people will continue to struggle through many issues. We want to make sure the help is in place when they are ready to talk. We're working to not only ensure this happens, but also to equip others to assist their friends and family when needed and able.
Projected Documentary Completion Date: June 17, 2016.
It's time we put our business on the other side of our family's door. Keeping them inside is doing nothing by killing up.
