I'm a wife and mother of two boys. I'm a teacher and have been teaching prekindergarten students for 7 years now.

My husband and I are both in school working to obtain our degrees.  I'm currently in grad school working on my Master's. My major is Curriculum and Instruction with a dual concentration in English Language Development and Equity, Ethics, & Justice in Education.

I'm putting in the work at home  by cooking, cleaning, & giving my family what they need.  I'm putting in the work at work by planning, planning, planning (and don't forget assessing).  And by sheer determination I find a way to get the work for my grad school done.

Now I'm being told that I don't have any more aid and I have to come up with nearly $5,000 or else I'll be withdrawn from school. I've simply come too far and so this is where I now am.
