Mighty Miles needs your help!

Meet Mighty Miles!

Before Miles was born, his parents knew he would need to be a fighter.  He was diagnosed with Down Syndrome, along with a heart condition that would require surgery during infancy.  What his parents didn't know at the time was that not only would Miles fight valiantly, but that he would also inspire so many others though his journey.

Although Miles just turned one year old, he has already spent 5 months of his life in a hospital.  Born early with a collapsed lung, Miles stayed a month in the NICU.  He's had surgery to correct his heart condition, followed by three hospital stays for respiratory illness which led to a dual diagnosis of pulmonary hypertension and pulmonary lymphangectasia.  We were all SO GLAD when Miles finally fought his way home after his most recent 80 day stay in the hospital!

Not only does Miles rock his extra chromosome, he is also currently rocking a G-tube to receive nutrients plus oxygen to support his breathing at night.
This guy is tough!

It's no surprise that Miles is so spectacular- it just makes sense when you look around and see his incredible support system.  Timothy and Amanda, his dad and mom, are warrior parents!  Their faith in the Lord and their hope for their children are inspirational to everyone who watches them.

Miles also has some super support from his older brother, Dax.  Miles thinks Dax is really funny, and Dax thinks his little brother is perfect just the way he is.  They are a dynamic duo, and it's so great to see them together again!

Miles and Dax also have a big sister, Charlotte Hope, who passed away when she was only 16 days old.  Although she was only on this earth for such a short time,  she was a warrior in her own right, and has made a lasting mark on this precious family.  Hope has been the theme of this family- starting with Miss Charlotte.

HOW YOU CAN HELP:
Now that Miles is home, Amanda and Timothy have been looking for the best place for him to go during the day for therapy and love- and they think they've found it!  This unique program would cater to Miles' specific needs with his G-tube, plus provide therapy and socialization that would help him in his development.  The only problem is that it is quite a bit more expensive than they can currently afford.  (It's about $400 more per month than they are currently paying for childcare).  In addition to added therapies, Timothy and Amanda also have a great deal of out of pocket expenses for Miles' hospital stays, surgeries, and continuing medical needs.

Would you please join the fight with Miles and the McCollums by helping Miles have access to the best care possible?  All funds recieved will be used toward Miles' continued medical and developmental needs.

$400 would cover the additional expense per month for this program

$45 per day would cover a day's expense of the program

Please consider partnering with Miles and his amazing family by making a donation today.

Thanks so much!
