Mimi's Fundraising

Author of the children's book Mimi's Fun Day and its bilingual education editions in Spanish, French, Italian, German, Portuguese and Japanese from Epitome Designs is seeking funds for her book promotion. Her books have been published on paperback and kindle editions on Amazon, Barnes and Nobles and other online retailers.

Audio books have been created for the French, Spanish and German editions and she needs to raise fund to create  and market audios the Italian, Portugues and German editions.

She would like to to raise funds to develop video games apps for her books. The donations from this fundraising will go towards materials and supplies, travel and lodge, artist honorariums, rental fees, perk cost, administrative, meals and shipping. The following is the budget breakdown of how the allocated funds will be used:

Materials and supplies for her books, such as illustrations, pictures, and book cover art, required for the creation of her audio books and mobile apps aggregates to about $3000. Travel and Lodge, include planning trips to various locations, such as California, New York and northern Arizona, to promote and market the book tallies to $500.

Artist honorariums payments for guest speakers and organizations that aided with the promotion and marketing her book works out to $200. Rental fees will cover cost for rentals space for book signing activities, meeting rooms and other events. It will also cover the fees for hiring a video game developer to construct video games for her books. This amounts to $1000.

Perk cost will cover donor gifts such as paperback and Kindle eBooks of Mimi’s Fun day. This adds up to $300. Administrative expenses to be incurred are office space rental for the first few months of operation, SEO optimization, and wages to employees who will help me plan general activities with regards to promoting and marketing the books. This will be a total of $1200.

Meals will include travel meals and dinner for employees who work on long projects. This sums up to $400. Shipping will cover cost of books mailed to donors, contributors who assisted  in promoting and marketing the books and free samples to select readers. This will be around $400.
