Hi, I’m Steve. I’m just one man, but I’m one man trying to make a difference.
I am currently walking from Lands End to John O’Groats, unaided, with a £100 budget and a tent to sleep in.
In this group you can follow my journey and become part of it.
On my journey I am raising awareness of mental health issues and homelessness, both of which I’ve been personally affected by. In each Town and City I stop in, I’m meeting up with individuals and organisations affected by these issues or who are working to help improve the lives of those who are. I have also launched www.mindcanyon.org which will be a one stop portal to link up all the mental health and homelessness groups/organisations/charities I have met along the way.
There are 64,000,000 people in the United Kingdom.
1 in 4 are reported to have a mental health issue.
That's 16,000,000 people that we can all help.
