Support Missfits All-Girls Robotics

FIRST Robotics Competition Team 6418: The Missfits is an all-female robotics team based in San Francisco. Our goal is to introduce female youth to engineering and technology. Only 24% of STEM careers are filled by women, and we want to help increase that percentage.

Our team’s mission is to spread STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) education to female youth around San Francisco, with a focus on underserved schools. Many girls grow up believing only boys can do STEM, and we want to change that perspective.  

Funding would go toward tool costs ($1,000), robot costs ($2,500), community outreach project costs ($1,000), and a 3D printer ($500). If we surpass our $5,000 goal, we will use additional funding to pay for registration fees next year.
