As I type these words (April 2nd) those who are PROTECTING Mauna Kea are bieng arrested. I have personally spoken this morning, with the booking officer in Hilo where they are being taken. The bail for each person arrested on Mauna Kea is set at $250 each. The booking officer said the first group of approximately 15 arrested protectors have already been booked, and a second group of protectors have been arrested but have not made it to the Hilo station yet. The sole purpose of this fund is to assist those who have been arrested while protecting our sacred Mauna Kea with bail money. Please KOKUA if you are able. Ua Mau Ke Ea O Ka Aina I Ka Pono
