Help With a Tragedy Fund For Haiti

Donation protected
Sometimes we seem powerless and a need to help in the best effective way as tragedy strikes at the same time. Haiti most often is in the news and the majority of the time , it is always a tragedy that strikes and most very often, the International community has to rush to the rescue. We will acknowledge that the Haiti government has taken in charge the costs and have organized national funeral for the victims. A step in the right direction. As citizens, we have to do our part as well. Meanwhile Haiti sons and daughters are living abroad in big numbers , and most of them hard workers and liviving succesful lives. Wether it is cholera, the Dominican Republic, the Bahamas, deportation, just to name those few, This campaign is directed at them primarily in looking for ways we can be at the avant garde when tragedy strikes. We do  appreciate the contribution of our friends of the International community and we certainly welcome their contributions whenever possible and certainly thank them for their past donations and hope  they will continue to do so. But like me living in the diaspora and chose to take the initiative , I would appreciate that our Haitians brothers and sisters living abroad can help in this initiative in great numbers and create a tragedy fund for a country that seems that everytime it takes a step forward, 2 to 3 steps back follow right after. As the head of a Charity International Coalition of Family for Education,  a 501 c 3 organization, based in South Florida, we have been helping Haiti, in the Mole Saint Nicholas area,  with tuition free school  long before the earthquake of 2010 and we remain steadfast to continue to do so and tragedy like this remind us we have to pull together and  reach out  and show  the international community that Haitians living abroad care for  their countrymen in those desperate moments.
In the latest tragedy, At least 17 people were killed and more than 40 injured early Tuesday at the end of the second day of Haiti's packed carnival celebration.

The deaths occurred after a packed carnival float, transporting fans and members of the Hip Hop Kreyol group Barikad Crew passed underneath a low-hanging power line on the Champ de Mars.

People on the scene told journalists that someone used a pole to move the power line so the float could pass.
