Moving across country for school

My family has lived in Texas our entire lives. I got accepted into a Culinary institute in Portland,Oregon and We are making the move.  We are excited and nervous, but ready to experience it all.  Our plan is to drive across the country before the school year starts. This is not only an adventure for my family and I, but a dream come true for me. I have been cooking for 17 years and this opportunity is  going to help me further my career and knowledge.
