Coming to Wicker Park in November 2016! 

Mr. Dave Music is launching with a focused mission: to bring the joy of music into the lives of children, families and adults by providing culturally responsive instruction and creating a warm and authentic educational experience. Offering everything from children's music classes and private lessons to dance parties and birthday celebrations, Mr. Dave Music is committed to providing innovative programming that fosters creativity and celebrates diversity in the power of music.

Mr. Dave Music is seeking donations from our friends and family to assist with the development of children’s programming, to provide educational resources to all children and families including books, classroom teaching resources, educational music toys for class participants and to aid in establishing a safe environment for our families.

We are passionate about spreading the benefit of music education into the community and lives of families, children and adults. We're fortunate to have this opportunity, and we thank you for your support.

About Us

Opening November 2016 in the heart of Wicker Park, Mr. Dave Music  will offer everything from children’s music classes and private lessons to dance parties and birthday celebrations. What’s more, Mr. Dave Music will develop innovative programming in response to customer interest.

“Our course offerings will be flexible and creative,” Christina Hamilton said. “Starting with a strong foundation of music classes and parties led by the best children artists in Chicago, we’ll create new programs based on community needs. We’re connecting with the most artistic and creative minds in the industry—people doing everything from children’s literacy to kids’ yoga—in an effort to expand our reach and offer a culturally inclusive warm and authentic educational experience.”

Mr. Dave Music is owned and operated by Dave and Christina Hamilton, who bring more than 15 years of experience to this venture. Their goal is to share positivity and love through music.

“Our motto is patience, love and positivity,” Dave Hamilton said. “We want to share that with the community—to build bonds and bridge gaps. Mr. Dave Music will be more than just a music school; it will be a safe, supportive community that makes a difference in the lives of children and families every day.”

Mr. Dave Music’s strategy for future growth is to make a positive difference in the community. “We are looking to provide aid for families in need by incorporating a scholarship program that allows access to educational benefits regardless of socioeconomic status,” said Christina Hamilton. “We’re also developing an internship program with a local higher education institution that allows our families access to a wide variety of educational experiences. And, we plan to evolve and advance our strategy based on community needs.”

While Christina and Dave have committed to funding their dream, they are seeking donations from friends and family to assist with the development of children’s programming, to provide educational resources to all children and families including books, classroom teaching resources, educational music toys for class participants and to aid in establishing a safe environment for Mr. Dave Music families.
