For Our Angel

On Monday February 1, 2016, our precious Gerald “Jerry” Williams was taken away from us in a random act of violence while away at college. Through our pain, his love, kindness, infectious smile and memories will continue to warm our hearts, as we remember the blessing that he has been to all of us.

At 20 years old and 6’8", Jerry also nicknamed  "Gwop" at his school by his friends, was our gentle giant. Regardless of how he felt, he always made it his goal to make sure everyone around him felt loved and had a smile on their faces. More than anything, Jerry is known for his unbreakable bonds with his mother and big brother. A true kid at heart, Jerry only wanted to make his mom proud and always did everything he could to do so. He looked up to his brother but, in turn, inspired him.

You can never be prepared to say goodbye to a loved one and we may never understand a tragedy like this one. Jerry’s passing has left his family heartbroken and any support, donations, and prayers are appreciated in their unimaginable journey to lay to rest their son, brother, family, and friend.
