JUSTICE FOR THERESA
Donation protected
My name is Sherry and I have been a friend of this family for over 20 years. I want and need to tell this story so everyone will know the kind of person that Theresa really was and why her two precious girls are so deserving. She was an amazing mother who never drank, smoked or did drugs of any kind. Her children were her everything. And now, after such tragic circumstances, their future will be without their mother...forever.
Theresa was a daughter, a sister and a mother of 2 very special girls. On June 17, 2013, the lives of her family were forever changed when she was found murdered in her own home while her children lay in their beds asleep. Two years have gone by and still no suspect in custody.
These girls have been living with and will continue to live with their grandparents, Theresa's parents, on their retirement income. The burden of the ongoing and future medical, education and legal costs, on top of the ongoing murder investigation, has been much more than any family should ever have to go through. There has been very little financial support given through the justice system and government.
Closure for this family is not looking like it will come any time soon. They have a very long road ahead of them and although financial aid will not bring back Theresa, it will help them to know that these beautiful girls will be provided for.
More importantly, as Theresa is looking down and watching over her family, she might find some peace and justice knowing that people do care.
RIP Theresa, we love you.
PLEASE, help me to help this family. Anything at all that you can donate would be truly welcomed and very much appreciated. SHARE this page with everyone you know. As this beautiful family waits for justice to be served, let us all help them find comfort in knowing that we do care. Every little bit helps.
