Mum in ICU at St George Hospital
Donation protected
On Monday the 6th of November my mother was in a serious car accident. After emergency services rescued her from the car she was rushed to our local Batemans Bay hospital. They worked tirelessly on her and performed CPR on her for 40 minutes. Due to the restriction of oxygen to her brain this means that full brain function when she wakes up is not promised. She was placed in a medically induced coma and flown to St George Hospital in Sydney. Mum remains in the ICU and has had many many injuries, some of them remain. The doctors say it is a miracle that she has made it this far. We are trying very hard to get donations as my family are not from here. We have no family in the immediate area of the hospital and need to book into hotels which is extremely expensive. We have never been a wealthy family with my father on a disability pension after an accident while serving in the Australian Army. My mother worked two jobs and we all just managed to scrape by. Now we are struggling even more being in a costly area with so little money. Please help us to afford accommodation so we can be with my mother when she wakes up from the coma. This would mean the world to my younger sister and I. Thank you.
