Support Municipal Consolidation
Donation protected
The Roxbury and Mount Arlington Consolidation Study Commission has been established to work in partnership and provide the residents of Roxbury and Mount Arlington, NJ information about the possibility of municipal consolidation. We shall pursue the objective of gathering and analyzing information for the public.
The Commission will do this in an open and inclusive manner and will thoroughly review the benefits and detriments of consolidation. The Commission may develop a public report and disseminate said report for consideration by the residents of both communities to create an informed public with an understanding of consolidation and determine if the matter should be put forth for public vote.

Unlike other past municipal consolidation commissions, we are citizen-initiated and don't have any municipal or state funding whatsoever despite our state approval. Therefore, we will need outside funding to secure expert advice and analysis where needed. Our study Commission includes representatives from each municipality and is monitored by two state officials. We ask for your assistance in paving the way for more of the 600+ municipalities in our small state to do the same to create a better quality of life here. We should afford to stay in the homes that we grew up or raised our children in. For more information about the need and process please email [email redacted] or see: http://www.couragetoconnectnj.org.
