Support Local Ukrainian Helpers
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Lena and as many of you know I grew up in the southern Ukrainian city of Mykolaiv. The city is only 30 miles from the occupied Kherson and is surrounded by the Russian military. Almost 500k residents cannot flee, their stores are running short on supplies, many people, like my elderly parents or families with small kids, cannot find groceries or medicine.
Established humanitarian organizations are absent in the region, as they focus on the larger cities like Kyiv or Odessa, and it might take weeks and small cities like Mykolaiv get any relief.
My long-term friend Dima and his wife Nastya are still in Mykolaiv. They won't be leaving. Like many brave Ukrainians, they took matters into their own hands. They are risking their lives to find supplies by driving around town and delivering them to the ones in need, like my parents and many others. They also provide much needed supplies to the locals.
Dima and Nastya are just regular people with regular jobs, so they rely on donations. I know many have donated money to support Ukraine, but any amount will make a difference. $20 can make a big difference for a family who requires baby formula or food down there.
All proceeds from this fundraiser will be transferred to Dima, no exceptions. I will be sharing their photos and videos, you can also follow @nastya_lunastya, @pandemoniy on Instagram.

- The donations received will be spent on the needs of the people in Mykolaiv,
and other emerging issues associated with the brutal Russian onslaught in Ukraine. This includes food, clothing, medications, hygiene supplies, etc.
- Donations from Gofundme will be transferred to my account weekly. Afterward, I send the money via Paypal to Dima directly from that same account. This step is needed as they don’t have American bank accounts and we need to transfer the funds intentionally.
