Overview. Spreading The Love is a 501c3 nonprofit based out of Omaha, Nebraska (United States) that works to put an end to bullying, the stigma surrounding mental illness, and suicide through education, awareness, and social support. The project we are focusing on right now is an app called My Pals which will provide support and important connections for individuals suffering from mental health issues and suicidal thoughts. Because there are not many (if any) apps out there that provide what My Pals will provide, we are confident that our app will open up new opportunities for support and aid for individuals who need it most.
Where will my money go? Our nonprofit has partnered up with an app development company to make this app possible. The process of developing the app is currently at a brief halt while we gather the money necessary to build it. Every last cent raised from this campaign will go straight toward developing My Pals.
How long do I have to donate? Although campaigns like these don't have deadlines, our campaign will only be running through January 2018.
What if I can't donate? If you can't donate, no worries at all! However, we encourage you to spread the word to as many people as you can. Whether this be through social media or to the people around you, it is important that this campaign reaches as many people as it can so we can reach our goal.
Why should I donate? Spreading The Love is a fast-growing nonprofit that is aimed to bring hope and positivity to the world. One of the many ways that we plan to do that is through My Pals.
