Lily unfortunately has a collapsed lung, we don’t know the cause of this and need to find out why and how to fix her.
she has had air drained from her chest twice, the first time over 700ml of air (she is a tiny dog too) the second over 350ml of air.
the vets now think as they cannot see the cause in X-rays/scans that she needs to have a CT scan and then open chest surgery. This will cost over £7000 in total.
my pet insurance has only just covered the bill for the draining, scans etc.. so far so an additional £7k is so out of reach. If she doesn’t have the treatment she will need to be put to sleep, something which breaks my heart and shouldn’t be done, she is only 5 and hasn’t lived her life yet.
she is our little princess and deserves the chance to live
